We stock over 2500 lines, ranging from wholefood staples to more unusual items. We strive to offer similar or lower prices than other supermarkets and we are proud of our independent store. We offer a range of good value products which cater for mainstream taste, as well as offering something a little different, thus proving that wholesome food is not just about lentils (though we sell these too)! By directly sourcing from unusual companies (chosen for a range of different reasons) we are able to offer a wide range of produce, from Meridian’s date syrup and almond butter, to Ecomil’s plant based almond, hemp and coconut milks.
We also try to source locally but with global flavours, from Manchester girl Minara’s authentic and organic Indian sauces, to Naija’sPotent peanut sauce and a range of Delicious sauces from Adam Marinha in Congleton. We sell a wide range of mainly UK grown flours from Doves Farm and a variety of high quality, good value organic tinned beans and pulses, including UK grown beans, peas and quinoa from Hodmedod’s – a company formed in Suffolk by a group of people with a shared passion for good, sustainable British food. Other local products include Yorkshire Crisps, Lancashire Roots Hand Cooked Vegetable Crisps and organic Yorkshire Rapeseed Oil.
We also stock a tasty range of fire sauces and pickles from Eswatini Swazi Kitchen, a Fairtrade company working to improve the lives of underprivileged women in rural Swaziland, and Fairtrade, organic banana chips, dried mango and dried mushrooms from Tropical Wholefoods.
Our range is both diverse and delicious and we try to provide a realistic, responsible grocery option! We sell lots of products that are suitable for gluten free diets – download our info sheet.
