Farm Open Day
At Unicorn's land at Glazebury, near Leigh
Saturday Sep 11th 9am – 12.30pm
Tenant farmers Rob & Stu (aka Moss Brook Growers) will give you a guided tour, showing what they're growing, how soil fertility is being built organically and what has been done to improve biodiversity on the site. You will also learn about exciting future plans for the land and the growing project. There will also be a chance to have a walk around the area, and drinks will be provided courtesy of Unicorn.
Transport is being provided, with a coach picking up from the Unicorn car park at 9.00 am and returning at about 12.30pm
This is all free!
We just need to know if you're coming, please book a place by Wed 8th Sep so we can make sure sufficient transport is booked
Email firstname.lastname@example.org or drop into the shop and book your place
Please note, we ask that you don't make your own way there, as parking is very limited and we don't want to upset our neighbours! There will be a 15 minute walk from the coach drop-off point to the site, which involves climbing a stile. Wear shoes you don't mind getting muddy, and check forecast to bring suitable clothing (e.g. boot, waterproofs). There is no toilet on site. Drinks will be provided but feel free to bring something to eat.
