Time for our annual update on New Year vegetable logistics! As is often the case, sourcing & transporting fresh fruit and veg often proves trickier in the post-Christmas period than in Christmas week itself…
- New Year weekend should be close to a normal range, with plentiful Cornish cauliflowers and an abundance of lovely dark spinach from Univert in Provence.
- Tuesday 2nd and Wednesday 3rd will be the trickiest days, and you’ll inevitably notice a few gaps in our offer. For those used to cooking from ingredients however, we’re confident of an exceptional range of fresh UK veg despite the occasional missing line.
- From Thursday onwards, all should be back to normal.
