New to our milks? Here’s a handy breakdown of the range. And of course all our milks are organic and GMO-free!
Soya Milks
Soya milks tend to be medium thick, and a higher protein option with a lightly beany taste. They’re good in tea, but may curdle in coffee if it’s cold. They’re good for cereal, smoothies, cooking, béchamel & general use.
- Vitasi Soya Milk: Unsweetened; creamy, smooth taste
- Isola Bio Soya Milk: Unsweetened; light texture, milder taste
- Sojade Soya Milks: Thicker, highest % of soya in our milks, and available ‘doux’ (slightly sweet) or‘natural’
Rice Milks
Rice milks have a sweet, fairly plain taste unless flavoured with other things. They’re less thick then others, and not really creamy. They’re good in sweet drinks (won’t curdle), cereal, desserts, etc. Not advised for young kids due to high sugar content.
- Isola / Vitasi Rice Milks: Naturally sweet and smooth
- Isola Almond or Hazel Rice Milk: Try in coffee, nutty & sweet
- Rice & Rice Almond Rice Milk: Tasty marzipan flavours
Oat Milks
Oat milks are mild, lightly sweet, and suitable for a wide range of uses. Their creaminess varies in different milks (see below) – but always shake well!
- Isola Bio Oat: Less sweet, medium thick, high oat content
- Oatly Oat Milk: Very popular, plain taste for general use. Not sweet, lightly creamy but shake well!
- Minor Figures Barista Oat Milk: Formulated for coffee and tea, slightly sweeter & creamier
- Overherd Oat Milk Powder: B12 & Calcium fortified. Nutty taste, lightly creamy. Low packaging, great for travel.
NUT and SEED MILKS
These tend to be among the more flavourful of the milks, and are often the low/no sugar, higher protein options. Ecomil, our main range, contain really simple ingredients and a high nut/seed content.
- Ecomil Almond Milk: Nutty taste, creamy, not sweet
- Ecomil Hemp Milk: Quite thick & creamy, nutty, not sweet
- Ecomil Cashew Milk: Milder, creamy, slightly sweet taste
- Ecomil Hazel Milk: Fragrant and rich, strong hazelnut flavour
Soya, Oatly & Coconut Creams
- Oatly Cream: Mild, slightly sweet taste. Great in place of single cream, poured over desserts, in (most) coffee, etc.
- Soya Cream: Slightly thicker, beanier taste, for cooking, desserts, etc.
- Coco Cream: Coconut flavour, thick and creamy. Use a double cream, whips up nicely.
