Unicorn Grocery may collect and process personal data relating to suppliers, when they trade as individuals.
Information that is collected: We hold a range of information about suppliers, including:
- The company name and contact details (address, email, phone numbers)
- The name and contact details of one or more individuals
- Company bank details
- Details of payments and invoices
Why we hold the information: We have a legitimate interest to process your personal data in order to trade with you, and to fulfil contracts we have entered into with you.
Who will have access to your information?: Your information is shared internally with Unicorn buyers and the Unicorn finance team. Contact details are accessible to all members via a password-protected phone book.
How long will we hold this information?: For the duration of our business relationship with you.
How we hold your information: details are held on Quickbooks for invoicing and accounts; Triodos for bank payments; google for email correspondence. Invoices are held in hardcopy accounts files.
Your rights: Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and The Data Protection Act 2018 (DPA) you have the right to request from us access to and rectification or erasure of your personal data, the right to restrict processing, object to processing as well as in certain circumstances the right to data portability.
You have the right to lodge a complaint to the Information Commissioners’ Office if you believe that we have not complied with the requirements of the GDPR with regard to your personal data.
